The Pakistan Muslim League Functional PML-F has rejected the Pakistan People’s Party’s proposal of introducing amendments in the controversial Sindh People’s Local Government Act-2012 (SPLGA).
The PPP made an offer to bring modifications in the SPLGA-2012 in its bid to reconcile with its former coalition allies.
I think PPP’s action is morally unpleasant and contrary to democratic norms. They had made this law after deliberations with their coalition partners. Now they want to change the law.
PPP must try to explain Sindh people what are benefits in the law new law for them. The abrogation of this law will increase Urban and rural divide. Sindhis should stop blacking Urdu speaking people. They must learn share resources and jobs. Otherwise, our rivalry will benefit Punjabis and Pakhtons who have landed in Karachi to grab our resources because their own areas in mess.
